Modules for growing seedlings and microgreens - Termolat

Modules for growing seedlings and microgreens

Standard module dimensions:

Height of the ridge 2.5 m x external width 1.9 m x length 6 m.

Indoor height 2.1m x width 1.8m. The aisle between the shelves is 0.8 m wide.

The width of the module is suitable for mobile transport in a standard trailer type trailer!

Quantity and sizes of shelves:

The standard size seedling growing module consists of a system of 6 shelves (3 on each side with dimensions of 0.5m x 4.25m).

Floor:

The floor-bearing structure of the cultivation module is made of galvanized steel pipes. A 50mm polystyrene insulation is installed between the strength ribs. 6 mm thick moisture-resistant veneer under the insulation. The module floor is made of 18 mm thick moisture-resistant veneer.

Frame and shelves:

The load-bearing wall and roof frame, as well as longitudinal ties, cross ties and an integrated shelf system are made of aluminum profiles, which ensure the longevity of the structure in an aggressive growing environment. Bolted and riveted connections. The walls and roof are sheathed with 16 mm thick polycarbonate sheets.

Water supply and sewerage:

Specially designed flooding baths are used for growing plants, flooding them with the required amount of water and regularity. The width and length of the flooding baths can be adjusted to the customer's wishes. In the module, it is possible to provide a 300l (or smaller volume) tank for autonomous water supply. Water is pumped in with the help of a water supply machine and a water pressure reduction valve is installed to ensure the necessary pressure. For water reuse, a built-in pump and a filter installed in the sewer line allow water to be reused by pumping it back into the water tank. To provide the plants with a uniform amount of water and its pumping, an automatic system has been installed, and it is possible to regulate the intensity of watering as needed. The water supply and sewage system can be adjusted to the needs and wishes of the customer.

Lighting, power supply and automation:

The module has a 3-phase electrical connection. In the module, it is possible to install LED lighting with the necessary spectrum for plants, which is selectively suitable for growing different plants, and to include their operation in the automation system by determining the necessary lighting cycles and their control. We coordinate the quantity of rosettes and their placement in the module with the customer. The automation system can be adapted to the customer's needs.

Heating and air cooling:

In order to ensure climatic conditions, it is possible to install heating and/or air cooling equipment in the module. We offer to install air-to-air heat pumps with an air flow suitable for growing plants, as well as electric fan heaters, connection to the customer's existing heating system, etc. equipment suitable for plants. The equipment is included in the common automation system with the possibility of providing controlled climatic conditions in the module.

Air exchange and mixing:

It is possible to provide a ventilation system for air exchange by connecting it to the common automation system. It is possible to install fans to mix the air in the module, for example by installing small fans at the ends of the grow racks.

Considering the great experience of SIA TERMOLAT in the construction of greenhouses and the variety of customer wishes, we can adapt the growing module to the customer's wishes and needs. All details in the construction incl. cladding or thermal insulation are adjustable. Each module is individually designed according to the customer's requirements.
